DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. DON'T STOP HERE! Huge amount of food but not worth the money. The Jalea (fried mixed seafood) was over cooked. Everything but the fish was chewy and tough. The 1/2 lb. grilled steak with shrimp and scallops was much better by comparison but anything would have been much better. I added garlic sauce to this dish. The steak had a good flavor and the shrimp were cooked better but the scallops smelled "fishy". I will not stop here again.

It's a slam dunk for what it is and also what it isn't. No frills experience puts the focus on what matters: the food. Quality ingredients, large portions, and super inexpensive. I highly suggest take out. 1/4 chicken meal w/ beans, rice & plantains - enough to fill you up and not feel bloated. Onion / sauce bar available to customize your meal.

Good food for reasonable price. Nice fast food place. Portions are big so we took one plate for two people

Thank you people of Yelp! La Granja was awesome. I had the half chicken with rice and black beans and fried plantains. I also had a side order of fried yuca. I ordered it to go and took a sample of all the sauce and other extra goodies with me. Everything was delicious. This sets the standard that I will be measuring any future Peruvian restaurants by. I only give them 3 stars because I have only tried one entree and one extra side. I plan to hit them one more time to try their ceviche. If its as good as it looks I plan to bump them up to at least a 4 star.

Chicken and rice are tasty. Bar offers a good selection of flavors. Service is alright but acceptable considering it was crazy busy. The atmosphere is more like fast food but I usually order take out anyways. Overall, great food at a decent price.

Huge portions, quick service, good taste at a great price! I will definitely come back.

Really good chicken, rice, beans and plantains all on real plates with real silverware- a rarity in fast food places. It would get 5 stars except for the bathroom. It was disgusting. Dirty, old, badly in need of updating. C'mon La Granja! You have a terrific restaurant with terrific food! You'd get 5 stars from me if not for the horrible bathroom!

So glad to see so many reviews. Since we moved to Vero a few years ago, we only hit this place sporadically and sometimes I forget how great it is...as other reviewers have noted, it's kept practically spotless, the food is beyond good, and the price is just unbelievable. This is just as easy as picking up a grocery store rotisserie chicken BUT so much better....and the rice and beans are perfect. I dislike when a restaurant just serves bland black beans...these are very flavorful. Ok...making myself hungry so I'm going to end here. Just go!!!! :)

Had to make a quick trip to Ft. Pierce for an appointment and wanted to stop for a delicious meal. We chose La Granja based on reviews that we read here and were very pleased with our choice. The chicken was fall off the bone perfect and the tostones (my favorite) were absolutely perfect. My boyfriend had the grilled pork and he loved it. Would recommend this place to anyone who loves Spanish food in large portions at a good price.

Let's start by the fact that they received one start bc that is the minimum allowed. They deserve 0 stars!!! I came here for a quick bite to eat on my way down to Miami. I've eaten at La Ganja before so this review is only for this location! I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich. However, while I was waiting for my food, I noticed that the served my mother in law her chicken with the corner piece completely raw. It was so noticeable that I was able to spot it with just a quick glance. I informed the staff and not only where they rude about it, when she took the food but to the chef or cooks rather, she simply said "she said it was raw". She didn't bother to look at what I was talking about nor did she care. The cooks where just as awful and rude (obviously not having any pride in there work or the food they put out). Having had food poisoning previously from another restaurant in Miami, I don't play around when it comes to under cooked chicken. Having seen the raw chicken that was served to my mother in law, I told the cashier (some other rude lady) that I wanted to change my sandwich to steak since I was disgusted and worried to consume the chicken. She told me that they already had made it and that it was to late! She then proceeded to tell me that I have to bite the chicken in order to complain about it being raw! Clearly, no one here has the brains because they don't realize the danger in consuming raw chicken. (Although they clearly have a sign saying otherwise). She asked the cooks and the same response was given. The only option given to me was to refund my money. Which is probably the best thing because heaven knows what other contamination I could have consumed, considering the fact that they do not know how dangerous raw chicken is!

There's a La Granja down the street from where I live, so what better location to eat at than one an hour away from home. Pulled into the parking lot on the right Subway the left La Ganja - right/left right/left, open Yelp and saw the 4 stars and that finalized the decision. I arrived at 11:30 and by the time I left at noon the place was packed. I placed my order and before I could finish checking out the condiment bar my order was up. The food was served on real plates, not paper or Styrofoam and the utensils were steel/metal, not plastic a huge plus. Chicken, rice and beans was the order - some of the most flavorful juiciest chicken that I've ever tasted at a "chain" restaurant. The rice was typical yellow rice but the black beans were over the top. I couldn't really distinguish all of the flavors in them but the meshed nicely.

Such a pleasant surprise!! Had chicken, rice and beans. Chicken was delicious and moist. I'm not sure what the condiment labeled garlic onions has in it that makes it white, but my husband and I had 3 servings each with our meal. Shared an empanada and flan, too. Everything was great!!!

This spot was sort of a blessing in digussie, we were starvingggggggggggg after 2 hour drive south from Orlando on our way home. Peruvian is always a good idea. The prices are a bit high for the location and the style of the place, but the food was fresh and made to order and they have an onion bar (yes an onion bar) and lots of sauces to try from. I had the jalea which is fried everything and the crust was pretty tasty. if you are starving, this is the place to stop.

There is nothing other to say then you HAVE to eat here. When I lived here I ate it all the time. Every time I come home from college I have to eat here. You can't beat $4.75 huge meal with chicken, rice and beans. Everything on the menu is fantastic.

Stopped in with the family driving south on the turnpike. Great food - good ceviche, yucca, black beans and rice, and sauces. Very authentic Peruvian food cheap and delicious.

Food is great but service is bad. The employees are rude and they look like they don't even want to serve you. If you like good service this is not the place to go.

I love this place... 1/4 rotisserie chicken, black beans & rice, fried bananas all for $5.95 add a side of Yuca for $2.95... you can't beat this place.

Very basic decor. Counter service. Beer and wine. Phenomenal roast pork and grilled chicken. Try the green sauce and spicy orange sauce in big squeeze containers to the left of the register. Cheap and great portions.

Since La Granja on US1 closed down, I'll write my review for this one as they are the same. They are a Peruvian restaurant that serves LOTS of rotisserie chicken, it's not bad. Last time I had it, it was a little dry but it's the CHEAPEST chicken for a quarter or a half there is. Comes with rice and beans. They have 3 different sauces, a red and 2 different greens. Different types of "salsas." I normally get the sauteed beef or 1/2 lb beef with either 2 servings of rice or rice and fries. Not into beans, not a fan of their texture like peas. Anyways, the sauteed beef has a lot of juices that when mixed with the rice, just adds another dimension to the plate. The 1/2lb beef is just a slab of a thin beef cut with some red onions on top. Where the magic happens is with the salsas and the sauces. Mixing them together with the rice just makes a LARGE plate and VERY good. Both plates are around $10 but the 1/2lb comes with a can drink. The rotisserie chicken is extremely cheap, I think it was around $3 for a quarter and $5 for a half. Not the cleanest of places and the atmosphere isn't really there but if you're looking for good food, beat the rush hour because when they get busy, it gets BACKED UP!

Im going with the flow on this one(4stars). I came in here last night when I was walking by just to check it out because there was a few people here pretty late and I was impressed when the girl said the seafood soup was made to order(fresh). So I stopped in today and there was a good amount of people eating here again. By the time I sat down with my food the place was packed. All I have to say is I will probably be back before I leave the area and that if you havent been here you are missing out.

Feels like I took the wrong exit! I ordered option #2 & #4. Chicken so,so. Little dry. Worst.black beans ever! Watery from the can it seems. Will never eat in this chain again! Yikes! Big mistake. Do not waste your money here. For a few bucks more go to Crackle Barrel close by. Whew!

We needed some food on our way down 95 from Orlando/Sanford to Boynton and I checked Yelp around Fort Pierce. We lucked out and found this place. Although a fast food type place, the food was good and the deserts even better. I would have given it 3.5 stars until I had the desert.

This is my favorite La Granja location. They differ from the other locations in that if you order a sandwich, you're given a choice of 2 sides. The other locations just give you french fries. So, in other words, I get more food for my money, and I get what I actually want (not a big fan of fries). Otherwise, we're talking about the same great La Granja food. Amazing chicken, flavorful beans and rice, and super tasty varieties of sauces with onions on the side. You get HUGE portions at a great price. Always recommended.

SO DELICIOUS! I always order the same thing - 1/4 chicken, rice, beans and a side of yucca. So much food for such a cheap price! There sauce bar is also delicious! One of my favorite places to eat at.

This place on the outside looks like your typical fast food chain restaurant. It was so not! Once we saw the food and took our first bite we were pleasantly surprised. You could tell the food was prepared in a way just like home. We had the sautéed beef & noodles. Highly recommend !

Family liked it, my daughter loved the chicken, wife loved the fried fish. I had the Paella which was pretty good... I think I will get the fried fish next time. Great salsa and sauce bar, and service was fast. You can get beer which was a great surprise, they should have a fountain drink system, though. All in all a very happy time, and we will be back!

Tha food wuz it jus wuznt gr8 2 me. I heard gr8 stuff but, I wuznt blown away by it when I got my order....alotta tha condiments were vinegary & alotta onion stuff, spicy onion, garlic onion, onion & jalapeños. I like onions...alot but, that sh1t wuznt workn 4 me. I did like tha fried yuca tho....that wuz purdy good. I'da been happier goin 2 Juan Pollo or El Pollo.

I got the Saturday's daily special beef with noodles. It was very bland and the noodles were spaghetti noodles, not what I was expecting. The beef was plenty but very dry and tough. The portion was huge, but just not good at all. My husband got the 10 piece chicken wings with fries. The chicken was way overcooked and dry and the fries weren't seasoned. I was very disappointed with this place because of the ratings other people gave it. This was our first time there. We may give it another try since my husband lived in Peru for awhile and really liked a lot of the food. Maybe we just picked the wrong dishes.

Tonight was my second visit to this restaurant. The first thing that we noticed when we walked in is that there was a woman cleaning one half of the restaurant. Scrubbing. With soap and water. All of it. Very impressive. It was very late so that half wasn't needed and it was nice to see that she wasn't simply spraying the table and wiping it off! I didn't say it was fine dining so please read on. Okay, so onto the food. It's possible for almost anyone to get it right once and it was pretty amazing the last time we were there. Unfortunately for a perfect review, I should have had something new this time but oh my, the chicken, black beans & rice and plantains (one of my favorites) was so good last time that we ordered it again. And yes folks, it was perfect. Not that I had any doubts, nor the 26 other people that came in the last time that we were there or the 14 at 9:30 tonight, it was really that good. The atmosphere is typical of any restaurant that's a mix of fast food and sit down restaurant, clean, plenty of seating and friendly wait staff. Nothing fancy. The food is all fresh and being made constantly. Grilled chicken, pork and steak, fish and seafood. Plantains, yucca, french fries and of course, yellow rice and black beans. The chicken is consistently tender and flavorful, the plantains soft and sweet with little crunchy parts (my favorite), soft but not overcooked rice and beans. Another thing that is very well liked by everyone that comes in, is a bar that is filled with different types of onions, some spicy, one made with ranch and vinegar, mostly diced. They make a great topper for any of your food. Side note: I did see on the menu Peruvian.

Wow. This is just great fast food. The Salsas are really different flavors of chopped onion but very tasty. Very casual and cheap. We will make this a regular stop. LOVE the bananas

I've been going to La Granja's all over Florida for years. Theres really no better deal for 10 bucks anywhere! The rice, the beans, the SAUCES! I usually manage to hit La Granja once a week. Easily one of my favorite places for a quick lunch or dinner. Casual, fast, and consistently good.
